The Elgin Township is collecting food for the United Way Food Drive for the month of August. All donations may be dropped off at the Elgin Township, 729 S. McLean Blvd. Monday - Friday from 8 am to 4pm.
8/12/2010 Specific Project Funding
We have temporarily suspended our Annual Social Service grant process for specific project funding. Instead, due to continued state funding issues, we have elected to provide a one time funding assistance to agencies that provide essential “well being” services. Applications are available on our website: elgintownship.com or at the Township Office: 729 S. McLean Blvd., Elgin, IL 60123. Applications are due September 24, 2010. Funding will be awarded in October, 2010. Agency Representatives can be present to be available for questions and a 5-10 minute closing statement at the October 12th Board Meeting at 6:00 p.m. Please call 847-741-2045 to be put on the agenda.
